What is a Biomechanics Trainer?
If there is a biomechanical weakness within the body then the body becomes asymmetrical and other parts of the body must move un-naturally to compensate for this weakness. As the body is forced to compensate, faulty movement patterns occur. Over time, these faults cause pain, followed by a decrease in the body’s function, which will ultimately result in a compromised performance. A Biomechanics Trainer’s aim is to resume natural symmetry within the body to minimise injury and ensure the function of the body is normalised.
How can a Biomechanics Trainer help you?
A Biomechanics Trainer will ensure that you are “Fit for Purpose” and will work with you to normalise the body and enable it to function effectively. Through a straightforward screening process, a Biomechanics Trainer can highlight areas of weakness in movement. They will then work with the client on a programme of exercises and massage to correct the cause of pain.
How do Biomechanics & Massage work together?
A biomechanical examination should ascertain the origin of the problem and massage will help relieve the symptoms. If this process is coupled with a core stability programme then it becomes a highly effective and long term solution to a client’s problems. The biomechanical symmetry will be realigned enabling the client to move more freely and function more naturally.
Biomechanical Analysis & Massage Treatment
- Full structural analysis to establish the cause of ongoing pain and injury
- Massage to treat areas of tension that contribute to the pain
- Exercise prescription to cure the cause and strengthen areas of weakness
- 90 minute session £50
A biomechanical rehabilitation programme will ensure complete structural alignment so the body works in the way in which it was designed. Normal symmetry and alignment guarantees optimal movement.
